Catherine started her travel career as a tour guide in Africa. On her first visit, she fell madly in love with the continent and unexpectedly landed a job with the tour company she had travelled with. The chance to stay in Africa was too good to pass up so what was meant to be a seven-week trip ended up being the start of a three-year adventure, during which she got to experience some of the best Africa has to offer.

In the following years, Catherine travelled throughout South America, Spain and the United Kingdom before returning to Australia. She completed the necessary training and worked as an Adventure travel consultant with Peregrine. In 2000 an opportunity to escort walking tours in Italy took her to the stunning Amalfi coast and Sicily, which she continued for several years. After taking a break to have a family, Catherine returned to travel in 2012 and has now joined the Rheom Travel team. She loves designing individual itineraries and understands the joys of travelling with children.
